Some customers are REALLY enjoying their summer. Now in their 12th week of circumnavigating Vancouver Island, the owners of a Catalina 42 have encounted enough memories to fill a lifetime. "The Catalina 42 we purchased has been wonderful. We sailed around Cape Scott and had 3 metre waves on our stern around Estevan. More than a capable boat, we love her dearly." remarked one of the owners.
Here's a couple of stunning shots of a whale that they had spotted outside the Broken Islands near Hankin Island.
We love it when people love their boats!
Looking for a great titling company to work with? Look no further than Marine Documentation Service Inc. We've been working with Norm and Sonya for over 10 years: they are exceptionally thorough, efficient and always go the extra mile. Without them, our cross border transactions would not be the success that they are.
Visit us at the upcoming Nanaimo Boat Show this June 1 - 3, 2012.
Step aboard NEW Bavaria and Catalina sailboats and select used sailboats.
We look forward to seeing you!
You may have already heard that the Federal Government has announced plans to close the Kitsilano Coast Guard station in Vancouver. The location of this base is critical to the local region answering around 350 calls a year which also makes it the BUSIEST STATION in CANADA. The men and women of this base help save lives. Please read the petition, sign it and pass it along to all of your boating clubs and friends. This is a resource that we can not lose.
If this base closes, it will be an outrage followed by tragedy.
In 2000, we had the the first Bavaria 36 to arrive to North America delivered to Annapolis in anticipation of displaying it at the upcoming Annapolis Boat Show. We'd put our applications in to magazines for their best boat awards. This model was awarded as a Top 10 winner by SAIL magazine. Opening comment on the winning review stated, "All of SAIL's judges rated the sailing ability of the Bavaria 36 as above average or superior." We couldn't have agreed more!

We were saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Cliff McNeely of ACM Signs yesterday. Cliff, or "Cliffy" as we affectionately called him was our go-to man for boat graphics and names. After helping customers choose fonts and colours, he would zoom down to Granville Island on his scooter and apply the names and hailing ports. Cliff would always carry a big smile and laughter seemed to come easily. We will miss you Cliff.
